Do You Matter?

I believe in you.

Hello, wonderful people!

Listen, read, and digest those four simple words. Understand them and grasp them. Hear me now:

I believe in you.

I believe there is a father that loves you.

I believe that you are loved.

I believe that you can make it through this day.

I believe that you are worthy of love.

Are you going to believe me?

To many of you reading this, I am a stranger, and we will probably never meet. I will always be the one you read. You may never hear my voice, but read these words now, that does not matter to me. I don’t have to see you to know all of you are hurting. You are a brother or sister to me in this very minute. You are my family in Christ. We are in the adopted family together. Family has each other’s backs. I have yours. Actively, I promise to pray for you. I promise to have faith that God will heal and transform you.

This person here on her little corner of the internet wants you to come. Hard to believe? Maybe you can not accept that. Maybe you will not accept or believe that someone would care. I do. I am not sorry about it. All who come into my life, I care about. God will put someone on my heart, a stranger, and I drop what I am doing to pray for you.

You Do Matter

There is some beautiful human out there on this planet that needs to here this in this moment. There is a God who is a father that loves you. He takes you in as you are. That is hard to believe. That is something I think everyone wants to believe. You have to take it in like the faith of a child. Oh, how my heart pours out wanting for you to take a jump. Catch him. Run with him. He is like a gulp of water after hours of not having anything at all; he is like the big bear hug from the person you love it from most. He is love. The simplest and most pure form. At all times he loves.

1 John 4:8

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

The Father is love.

1 John 3:1

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”

There is someone out there that yearns for their child, you, to come home. Your father is missing you. He wants you, and he longs for you. You are his child if you want to be, and I promise you it will change your life. Find him and keep him close.

My friend, I believe in you because my father took a chance on my lost soul. I have seen his work, and I have seen him move mountains in my life. He brought me freedom out of anxiety; I was freed from the grasp of my own personal traumatic experiences. I still have so much work that needs done in my life, but I see him doing it. He died on a cross and rose again three days later. He gave the sacrifice of his life. He gave it for me. He also gave it for you.

The one sitting there.

He believes in you. He loves you, but you have to first run to him. Trust me on this one. Take that twenty seconds of insane courage. Oh, my heart is in agony because I desperately want you, beloved, to cling to him.

Run and don’t stop. Run to him.

Comment and interact with me. If you need prayer, please let me know. My arms are wide open.

With all my love,

    Hey, Grace!
I’ve been keeping up with your blog and I am so excited for the new direction you are taking. I can’t wait to see your crafty side come out!
Thank you for the encouragement of this post. I always get teary-eyed when I think of the concept of “forever”. It is so overwhelming to realize that God’s love is forever and we will be forever in Heaven with Him!
The world can be a scary and sad place, especially for someone who grew up in a Christian environment. I was in a summer camp last year and I was shocked and heartbroken at the amount of sin, cruelty, and utter hopelessness that prevails in the world. But I know that when I am hurt by those of the world, I can turn to God and He will guide me through and protect me. And I am so grateful for my Christian friends who encourage me and come along with me on my journey to be closer to the Lord.

I am happy to hear that someone has been keeping up with Rethink. It brings a smile to my face. We will see where some of the different directions take me.

The concept of forever is overwhelming, but at least we know who has the control. With Him in control we don’t have to worry about anything.

The world is a heartbreaking place. It is in ruins, but I happy that you have found Christian friends and the Savior King to guide you through it. Always remember there is beauty in serving the Father. I pray that you grow closer to the Lord as well and continue to look to him even when sin is everywhere.

Thank you for bringing a smile to my heart.
